In‑Home Visits

Care That Comes to You

In-home visits bring your appointment directly to your door, making it easier to receive care without driving across town, arranging transportation, or sitting in a waiting room. This option is especially helpful for adults and retirees who prefer the comfort of home, have mobility challenges, or simply want a quieter, more relaxed visit.

In-home visits are available to active T Wellness members.

What You Can Use an In‑Home Visit For

Most wellness-based services can be done right in your home. Common reasons people schedule an in-home visit include:

  • Vitamin B12 injections
  • Lipotropic injections
  • Trigger point injections
  • Soft-tissue therapy
  • Digestive or metabolic follow-ups
  • Weight management support
  • Nutrient and supplement guidance
  • Medication questions
  • Pain support

Visits are unhurried and focused on your goals, just like in the clinic or over telehealth.

Pricing and Member Discounts

In-home visits include:

  • A base visit fee
  • If you’re within about 15 miles of T Wellness' immediate service area, you’re all set—no extra travel fees. For homes a bit farther out or in areas that require extended travel, an additional fee may apply. We’ll always let you know ahead of time so there are no surprises.
  • Optional add-on services (B12 injections, trigger point therapy, soft-tissue work, etc.)

Members receive discounted pricing, with the deepest discounts available to Tier 3 members. All fees are shared clearly and upfront so you always know what to expect.

Travel Fees

Most homes in Pahrump fall within the standard service area, and your base in-home visit fee already includes travel for up to 15 miles one way from T Wellness' immediate service area.

If you live within this 15-mile radius, there are no extra travel fees.

For homes outside the standard service area or requiring extended travel, an additional travel fee may apply. You’ll always be informed of any extra cost before your visit is confirmed.

Preparing Your Home for an Injection Visit

Many in-home visits include injections such as Vitamin B12, Lipotropic injections, or trigger point therapy. A clean, organized workspace helps keep your visit safe and comfortable. These steps are simple and easy to follow.

________________________________________

Choosing a Good Workspace

Pick one of the following:

  • A clean kitchen table
  • A smooth countertop
  • A sturdy desk or similar surface

This area should be:

  • Free of clutter
  • Away from pets
  • Away from sinks or water splashes
  • Well-lit and easy for you to sit comfortably

________________________________________

How to Prepare the Surface

A clean surface helps keep your injection safe.

  • Wipe the area with soap and water
  • Then use an alcohol-based disinfecting wipe or spray
  • Let it dry completely
  • Remove food, drinks, mail, towels, décor, or anything not needed

If you have a clean towel or paper towel, place it on the surface for the nurse practitioner (NP) to set up supplies.

What You Should Have Ready (If Available)

The NP brings all medical supplies. You only need to prepare the space. If you have these items, they can be helpful:

  • A clean towel or paper towel
  • A small trash bag for wrappers
  • Good lighting

Pets should be secured in another room during the visit.

________________________________________

Right Before the NP Arrives

A few quick steps help the visit go smoothly:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water
  • Make sure the workspace is still clean and dry
  • Keep pets and family members out of the area
  • Ensure the NP can easily access your home

What the NP Does Upon Arrival

Your NP follows a consistent safety process based on CDC best practices.

Setting Up the Injection Field

The NP will:

  • Confirm the workspace is safe and appropriate
  • Clean and disinfect the surface again if needed
  • Lay out a clean barrier (paper towel, cloth, or disposable pad)
  • Organize supplies in the order they’ll be used
  • Keep the sharps container within arm’s reach
  • Perform hand hygiene
  • Prepare medication immediately before administering it

Medication is never drawn up in advance. This protects sterility, stability, and your safety.

Safety and Access

To keep visits safe and on schedule:

  • Driveways and walkways should be clear and accessible
  • Pets should be secured
  • Someone must be home and able to answer the door
  • Weather or road conditions may affect scheduling in certain areas

If the NP cannot access the home or no one answers the door, the visit is considered missed and the cancellation fee applies.

Cancellations and Missed Visits

Because travel time is significant in a rural area, 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or change.

  • Members: $75 fee for late cancellations or missed in-home visits
  • Fees are charged to the card on file at the appointment start time

If you’re running late or something unexpected comes up, please call or message as soon as you can. A short delay can often be accommodated.
